The Young Performers Choir is a contemporary children's Choir based in Swansea.

Covering a range of music styles, Pop, Folk , Musical Theatre, Jazz etc. we provide an exciting opportunity to rehearse and perform a variation of song styles.

​

Supported by a very enthusiastic teacher,  piano, digital audio and a guitar, the pupils learn a variation of songs using a  ‘call and response’ method. 

​

Each part of a the song is performed and played to the group, then repeated back until successfully executed by each choir member.

​

This approach reduces the difficultly with reading music and allows even our our youngest members to truly perform each song.   

​

The Young Performers Choir will perform internally as part of school theatre performances, open days as well as at external public events.

​

YPC is suitable for children aged 7 - 12 yrs.
